Obesity Prevention
CAHP and the CMA Foundation’s Obesity Prevention Project – Toolkits
The California Association of Health Plans (CAHP) and the California Medical Association Foundation (CMAF) collaborated with commercial and Medi-Cal managed care health plans, physicians, state agencies and other health provider organizations to complete a provider toolkit addressing the prevention and early identification of obesity and weight management education. Individual toolkits were developed for adults and adolescent/pediatric patient populations which include a variety of informational resources and tools.
