Californians are already paying the price of rising health care costs. In recent years, state lawmakers have enacted costly new health care bills — and this year added a $1.5 billion tax on health coverage. Now, additional bills are moving through the Legislature that threaten to push health coverage costs even higher. The costs keep piling up. California lawmakers should put affordability first and stop adding to the burden on Californians.
