A new nationwide study released by AHIP shows that health plans play a vital role in supporting the economy and employees throughout the nation, including here in California. The AHIP study looked at state-by-state statistics such as how many people are covered by insurance from an employer, how many people are employed by the industry, and the percentage of premiums paid by employers, among other statistics.
