CAHP manages the details of the meeting space, meals and registration, as well as program promotion in various local publications, our weekly CAHP Update, and mailings to our Master List of over 3,000 contacts. The premier sponsor (host) has the ability to craft the contents of the seminar, as you are the expert of your seminar.

CAHP Seminar Series: Behavioral Health: A Complex and Integral Part of the Health Care System

June 26, 2019
Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel & Convention Center

Behavioral Health has become an increasingly important component of routine health care. The correlation between negative health outcomes and unaddressed behavioral health and substance use disorder issues is clear. The health care industry has developed innovative delivery and financing arrangements with the goal of aligning incentives across systems and providing more comprehensive care to deliver better outcomes. Investments in behavioral health services and resources at the federal, state, and county levels has increased awareness and access to services and provided a national platform to discuss how health care providers and payers can work collaboratively. The wide array of behavioral health disorders creates a situation where patients, providers, consumers, advocates, government, and health plans must all create a dynamic and integrated system that provides the necessary supports in the community and at the traditional points of care.
